Archipel India Private Limited (AIPL) is a new generation agro-forestry based food company working with small holder farmers across India. AIPL operates an innovative carbon financing business model with large multinational companies clients. AIPL sprang from 20+ year work of Naandi Foundation in the Araku region creating a functional food forest with 52 million trees and a specialty coffee brand ARAKU.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Data Analyst with experience in handling agriculture-related data, to support data-driven decision-making across our programs. This role involves analysing field data (e.g., farmers, crops, land, saplings), creating visual dashboards, and collaborating with field and program teams to enhance the impact of our initiatives. Fluency in Telugu is essential for effective communication with field teams and understanding local data sources. Open to travel. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse farmer- and farm-related data using Excel or SQL and create clear, actionable reports.
• Build and maintain dynamic dashboards using Power BI or equivalent open-source BI tools.
• Continuously explore and understand existing datasets and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data received from multiple field sources.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation for data handling procedures and standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
• Fluency in Telugu (speaking required; reading and writing is an advantage).
• Proficiency in Power BI or other open-source data visualization tools.
• Strong skills in SQL and Microsoft Excel (including scripting and macros).
• Proven experience in building dynamic, interactive dashboards.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and user-friendly manner.
